Special Episode 11 is an opportunity to rest and recap Episode 5 featuring Sharon Ward. My guest is Tony Brooks. Tony is husband to Cheryl Brooks. Cheryl was featured as our guest for Episode 2. Tony’s been involved in ministry through worship, Eldership and as a small group leader. He's a father and foster father to 3 children and has long been an advocate for the City Bible Forum.
In Part 1, we look back together through Part 1 and 2 of Sharon's story and discuss prayer in times of anguish, how we might prepare ourselves for such times and what it is that can block our way to God and we look at how those times can prepare us for a kingdom perspective.
In Part 2, Tony and I recap Part 2 and 3 of Sharon’s story through the scriptures. We discuss the constant renewing of our minds towards God's life, love and joy and the pressure to conform to the world at all cost. We look at relationships within and outside the family and how these may be integral to realising our impact for Christ and His kingdom.
