With Cheryl Brooks
Cheryl Brooks is a mother, grandmother and foster mum. She works as an anesthetic nurse and has been long involved with medical training and support in the Democratic Republic of Congo through AusHeal. She has been involved with church ministry including eldership and council leadership.
Motherhood as a Christian for Cheryl is a calling to serve God's Kingdom and a form of worship. As a nurse and a natural leader Cheryl has struggled at times to hand control over to God. Her story is one of His graciousness in teaching her to trust His provision for everything - even time.
